Fragment of Happiness- Commissioned Art

I want to share with you the making of video of the piece "Fragments of happiness". This piece made at the request of a collector needed to reflect the energy of his home. I wanted a piece that, while conceptually minimalist, was full of energy. To do this, I was inspired by the concept of happiness. Although many times we confuse it with a goal, happiness is the sum of millions of little experiences that make us grow. They are fragments that with passion and care we can link one with another. As an old saying goes: "It is not the goal, it is the way."

Creating a piece of art at the request of a collector involves personal work in which you must understand beyond colors and shapes. You must open your mind and soul to understand what sensations the collector wants to find in your piece, and at the same time you must be astute enough as an artist to maintain the integrity of your work.

Quería una pieza que aun siendo minimalista conceptualmente estuviese llena de energía. Para ello, me inspiré en el concepto de la felicidad. Aunque muchas veces lo confundimos con un objetivo, la felicidad es la suma de millones de pequeñas experiencias que nos van haciendo crecer. Son fragmentos que con pasión y cuidado podemos ir enlazando uno con otro. Como dice un viejo refrán: " No es la meta, es el camino".
